Looks like Tesla are going to have competition in range topping #EVs. No doubt your petrol car goes 2000 miles easy, but I think it will be good enough for most people. arstechnica.com/cars/2020…

Important but scary article from Richard. How long can we continue to pretend things are going to be just like they were? There’s so much potential from a Green New Deal if the government could just have the necessary ambition. www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2020…

To set the record straight on #appgate, Apple and Google released this statement way back on Apr 10th. It wasn’t secret that third party apps can’t use background Bluetooth tracing in iPhones. www.apple.com/newsroom/…
How did these devs think they were going to bypass the OS restrictions? Complete waste of time. Instead of a data grab for Dominic Cummings, they should have just focussed on something that actually worked. www.theguardian.com/world/202…

I had the first panic attack in a long time today. Oddly since COVID all started I’d not had those problems as much. I’ve felt anxious in general, but never to the point of panic. Must cut down the caffeine.
Interesting that the GCSE history syllabus is pretty clear about the economic mistakes the government made in the 1930s. Is our government economic knowledge above GCSE level? Lets hope so.
We really need to kill of the myth that national “debt” is somehow bad. The danger is we make the same poor economic decisions we made in the 1930s. #learnmmt

If the police can’t even stem violence against protests about their violence then there’s an even bigger issue. Protests about police brutality are met with wave of police brutality across US - US news - The Guardian
I’m trying to learn more about black history to better understand #BlackLivesMatter. May 31st marked the 99th anniversary of a terrible massacre in Tulsa, Oklahoma. More people should know about this. Just one example of how black history has been rewritten and hidden.
Great video explaining #mmt from the US perspective. It takes awhile to understand this, but once you do, you’ll have an ah-ha moment, and realise the key differences between governments and households.
I made this from the old DRAM lying around my garage. Bit of a fun decoration for my office.
